Admission Policies
1.1 General Policies
The High School Unit has an Admission Committee composed of the following:
Guidance Center Head (acts as the head of the committee), Treasurer and Principal. This committee admits new students and transferees on the basis of the results of the entrance examination, personal interviews, academic records, character information and evaluation, and the student’s and parent’s acceptance of the school’s Vision-Mission, objectives and policies.
Everything is on a first-come first-served basis. The number of applicants to be admitted depends on the number of vacancies to be filled in the year level applied for, hence, no entrance examinations will be administered once placement is completed.
1.2. Eligibility
· The applicant’s Report Card (Form 138) must not have any failing mark from the first to the last grading period, with no grade below 80% or its equivalent in any grading period.
· He/She must have a satisfactory mark in conduct
1.3 Basic Application Requirements
To all applicants, transferees, and returning students – original and photocopies of the following should be submitted in the Guidance Center:
1. Application form from the Guidance center
2. Birth certificate (2 copies)
3. Baptismal certificate
4. Confirmation certificate (if confirmed)
5. Report card
6. Immunization card
7. Recommendation letter from the Principal/Counselor( original copy)
8. 2 copies of 2x2 pictures
9. Testing fee of PHP 200.00 for Filipino student applicant.
1.4 For FOREIGN APPLICANTS
1. Application form from the Guidance Center
2. Copy of Birth Certificate from the Office of the Civil Registry of the respective country of birth,
translated into English, or Embassy Certification of birth details;
3. Special Study Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration;
4. Identification Certificate as Filipino Citizen issued Bureau of Immigration (for applicants with dual
citizenship);
5. Final Report Card from Grade I up to the most recent level of schooling. A description of the
different subjects must be included;
6. Recommendation letter signed by the Principal/Guidance Counselor
7. Two (2) recent 2x2 photos;
8. Testing Fee of PHP 1,000.
1.5 Guidelines on Admission
· Applicant takes entrance test on a scheduled date given by the Guidance Center
· Examination date and time may vary depending on the availability of the psychometrician.
· The Guidance Center schedules an interview with the applicant to discuss the result of the entrance
examination.
· The Principal decides on an applicant with special case.
1.6 Orientations and Qualifying Test for Pull-Out
· Qualified applicants for first year should attend the orientation and will take the qualifying test for
Pullout Program scheduled on the same day.
1.7 Old Students
· All students who have made reservations are assured of enrolment on their scheduled dates
· All unpaid accounts of the past year are to be settled before enrolling for the current school year
· The school reserves the right to refuse late enrolment. However, permission is obtained from the
Principal.
1.8 On Returning Students
Students who were once enrolled in the High School and had transferred to another school but want to come back are treated as new students. Application for admission, interview and entrance examination will still be given.
